Privacy
What this site collects, and why.
danwestmoreland.com is run by Dan Westmoreland, a sole proprietor in Atlanta, Georgia. This page explains what data the site collects, which tools do the collecting, and how to opt out. Last updated October 20, 2026.
Website visitor identification
This site uses RB2B, a visitor identification service, to help identify the companies and, where available, the business contacts that visit it. RB2B matches signals such as IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you view against its data partners to produce a company name and, in some cases, a business profile (name, title, company, and LinkedIn URL). That information is used for one purpose: to decide whether a visiting company fits the businesses I work with, and if so, to reach out about my services. It is not sold. You can opt out of RB2B's identification across all sites that use it at rb2b.com/opt-out.
Analytics and CRM tracking
This site loads the HubSpot tracking code, which sets cookies to measure page views and, if you later submit a form or book a call, links that activity to your contact record in my HubSpot CRM. HubSpot's own privacy policy is at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
Forms and booking
Contact and newsletter forms are processed by Netlify Forms and stored in my HubSpot CRM. Call bookings go through Cal.com and create a Google Calendar event. In each case you provide the information yourself (name, email, company, and whatever you type in the message box), and it is used to reply to you, schedule the call, or send the newsletter you asked for.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, you will get one email a week with a GTM engineering play, sent from dan@danwestmoreland.com, and every email has an unsubscribe link. If I email you about my services because your company visited this site or fits the businesses I work with, every one of those emails includes a plain reply-to-stop option and my mailing address, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires. Reply "nope" and you are removed within one business day.
Cookies
Cookies on this site come from HubSpot (analytics and CRM) and RB2B (visitor identification). The site itself sets none. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them.
Who sees the data
Me, and the vendors named above acting on my behalf: RB2B, HubSpot, Netlify, Cal.com, Google Workspace, Clay (data enrichment), and Smartlead (email sending). I do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone else.
Your choices
Email dan@danwestmoreland.com to see what I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. I answer within one business day. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information under the CCPA; I do not sell personal information, and the other rights are honored on request.
Changes
If the tools or practices described here change, this page is updated and the date at the top moves. Material changes to how data is used will also be noted in the newsletter.
